that because of free will, we can never actually be sure, 100% of a lasting human relationship built on love. However, without freewill we could never truly love, because the foundation of a true love (whether for a human or the divine) is built on the ability to choose.
A love of long standing is not built on emotion it is a decision to act.

true Grace, the only thing I would add is this... when a person makes a comittment out of love, but does it not in his own strength but God's, then its God's 100% faithfulness that that comitment is then based in. Its like having God undersign a bank loan. Thats the only way we as humans can guarentee a relationship. Its the same principle our relationship with God is based on actually, it all rides on his faithfulness.
