Miracle on the third floor

Last night my friend had a baby. I was with her just moments before, and saw her again this morning. Last night there was a little human being inside of her and today he's here - breathing the same air and looking at me with large, newborn baby blue-grey eyes. I could shake his hand and say hello, and he could feel my finger on his face. I was just overwhelmed with how amazing that is (although I played it cool while there of course. LOL). It is a miracle that happens everyday - God breaths life and sustains life by his word- just like He says He does in the gospel of John. Good news.

Is that Chris Nichol? Did you travel back in time and take that picture of him and bring it back and post it?

Please see Drake's blog for more information! Thanks!

Babies are truly a miracle!

Silas, that is a cool name, 2nd time this month that we have heard it.

It's such a cute name, but the first thing that came to my mind is "Silas Marner". My mom assures me it is a good book.

Phew, at least it's not the albino monk assasin Silas, that you thought of first :D!!

Keller said...

That's who I thought of! HA!!!!

Keller said...

But I also thought of the "spiritual" Silas from the book of Acts.

I don't know any other Silas'. That is, more than these three. Two being real and one being a fictional character.

So then I guess THIS Silas, will shape your opinion of all other Silas' from now on...
Silas Nichol don't fail us now!!
:D

Kelly, Silas Marner is a good book, keeping in mind that it was written a long time ago. I could lend it to you if you were so inclined.

I, too, have had the wonderful opportunity to see the beautiful baby boy. He's adorable. Although he did scowl at me most of the time. I think it's because I interrupted his supper . . .

It is kinda weird to think about how we can start as something so small and innocent...

haha and then turn out like a crazed stable by as an adult right?

oh grace. you like the heat? you, my friend, are crazy. i completely wuss out at like 25 degrees. seriously. it's pathetic. i have that glazed look in my eyes all the time like i'm about to faint. it's not pretty.

i would so much rather it were cold so i could wear loads of clothes. i'm not a fan of most people's summer attire...and i hate exposing my own mottled skin. give me coat and scarf and long underwear any day.
