The Great Blizzard of 2007

Today was the first time I've tried walking anywhere, since the big blizzard.
I was pleased to find that I sunk into the snow up to my buttocks!
I don't think that's happened to me since I was a little girl. We definitely have had more snow than I can remember for possibly decades.
Granted I seem to only be here every other winter, but apparently no one else remembers having this snow for ages either.
I thought I would hate it, but it's really not so bad. Just a challenge is all :D

So much snow here too! I wish I had some sweet ski pants to go play in it.

it's tuff when ppl son't shovel there walk ways though. i have be bound to the yard almost all winter because with being pg it is to hard to fight with a stroller through the mounds of snow. Especially when trying to get on and off the sidwalk and having other kids walking that I have to pay attentin to as well. I love snow other wise.

I was on supervision yesterday, and I (of course) wore my ski pants because I realized that I am just too cold without them. Anyhow, I was walking across the field and realized just how out of shape I am because it was only up to my knees, and I was so tired! I am actually loving all of the snow that we have - mostly because I did suck it up and buy snow pants and boots. :)

Ello Grace!!!!
Thas a lot of snow you have there. I wish we had that much in Chicago. Instead we just have the cold.

When I was a child, it was much easier to sink into snow up to my buttocks, primarily because of my short stature.

Nowadays, sinking that deep...is a challenge at best. I envy your snow diving experience. Did you build an igloo?

Shaz, that's so funny.. I was watching some kids on tv go crazy for dance mats and I thought.. I should get me some of those, so I can practice up in case we ever do meet again and take that show of ours on the road.

Michael, you stopped by!! I'm so pleased :D It's about time. I was getting the feeling you aren't really committed to the whole bloging thing. You never resopnd to your comments - sniff sniff. And you're right the gymnastics aren't to be missed - hilarity at it's finest.

And a great big hello to the rest of you, glad most of you are snowed in with me!!
